Is premier protein good for diabetics?

My doctor told me to watch my sugar intake very carefully since I have diabetes. I saw this Premier Protein drink at the store and was wondering if it's a good option for diabetics like me, or if it has too much sugar.

It has very low sugar, which is helpful. Along with these shakes, practicing daily pranayama and eating whole foods has helped me keep my sugar levels very stable.

I go to Max Hospital for my diabetes checkups and my doctor there always says to check the artificial sweetener content in such packaged drinks. Better to ask your own doctor before starting it.

I have been using it for a while now and it doesn't spike my blood sugar since it has just 1g of sugar. Just make sure you don't use it to replace actual nutritious meals entirely.

Even if it says low carb, every diabetic body reacts differently to processed protein. Please get your HbA1c checked and confirm with your diabetologist before making it a habit.

Managing thyroid and glucose together is tricky for me, so I never try new protein supplements without a blood test first. Do regular follow-ups with your doctor to see if it suits your system.

I tried sattu and other home recipes for protein, but sometimes readymade ones are convenient. Just read the label carefully for hidden ingredients, as home remedies can only do so much.
