Is premature ejaculation considered erectile dysfunction?

I've been facing issues with premature ejaculation for a while, and it's making me really anxious. Is this considered the same thing as erectile dysfunction, or is it a different problem altogether? Trying to understand what's happening.

No, both are quite different issues altogether. I have been managing my type 2 diabetes for years, and high sugar can sometimes cause nerve issues affecting both, so getting your levels checked is very important.

Arrey brother, both are different departments! One is a speed issue, the other is a starting issue. Don't stress too much, half the stress is just in our heads anyway.

They are separate clinical conditions, though they can sometimes happen together. Please consult a urologist or an andrologist for a proper evaluation to rule out any underlying physical issues safely.

I used to think it was all the same and ignored it, which only made my anxiety and relationship issues worse. Don't make the mistake of self-diagnosing, just go see a doctor and get it sorted out early.

I totally get it, it can be really frustrating and confusing to figure this out. But don't worry, they are two separate problems and both have very good treatments available if you talk to a specialist.
