Is porn bad for mental health?

I've been feeling a bit down lately and less focused, and I sometimes watch adult content online. Someone mentioned that this habit might be affecting my mental health. Is there any truth to that, or is it just a myth?

In our experience, excessive consumption of such stimulus excites the nervous system and disturbs peace of mind. Daily yoga and deep breathing can help channel your energy into more positive aspects of life. It is all about finding inner balance.

Actually yaar, too much of it can really warp your expectations of reality and relationships. If it is affecting your focus or daily routine, taking a long break from it is the best thing you can do for your peace of mind.

I totally get it, it is a very common habit but it can lead to a lot of guilt and anxiety. If you feel it is negatively impacting your self-esteem, try to step back slowly. Please be gentle with yourself and don't feel ashamed.

I always worry that these habits can cause long-term dopamine imbalance and bad sleep patterns. If you are feeling constantly anxious or distracted, maybe try using some website blockers for peace of mind. Just take it one day at a time, you are doing fine.

I used to panic and think I had permanently ruined my brain after reading some extreme articles online. But once I limited my screen time and started socializing more, my anxiety completely vanished. It's a very common phase, just bring some balance back and don't stress.

At my age, even getting out of bed quickly makes me dizzy, so I don't worry about these modern screen habits too much! But jokes aside, anything in excess is bad for your brain. Keep your mind busy with real hobbies and you will be fine.
