Yes, Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is indeed hereditary. It's predominantly passed down through families. The most common form, Autosomal Dominant PKD (ADPKD), means you only need one copy of the affected gene from a parent to inherit the condition. It's crucial to consult a genetic counselor or nephrologist if there's a family history to understand the risks and management.

Definitely, PKD is a genetic condition. If it runs in your family, you have a higher chance. While you can't change your genes, maintaining a very healthy lifestyle – consistent exercise, balanced diet, and hydration – can definitely help manage symptoms and slow progression. But for diagnosis and treatment, a doc is your best bet.

Haan ji, mostly it is hereditary. Agar ghar mein kisi ko hai toh bachchon mein bhi aane ka chances zyada hote hain. So, the practical solution is, if your parents or relatives have it, go for regular check-ups yourself. It's better to catch it early. No point in panicking, just be aware and proactive.

Yes, Polycystic Kidney Disease is hereditary. This means it runs in families due to genetic mutations. If you have family members with PKD, it's wise to get screened. While you can't change genetics, a healthy, active lifestyle, including regular walks, can support overall kidney health and manage progression, always under a doctor's guidance.

Yes, it is hereditary. This is extremely important information because if someone in your immediate family has PKD, you or your children might be at risk. Please, do not wait. Get yourselves and your family members checked by a nephrologist to understand the genetic implications and start monitoring if needed.

Oh yes, PKD loves a good family reunion! It's definitely hereditary, meaning your family tree might have some kidney cysts passed down. So if your ancestors had it, you might have won the genetic lottery for it too. But don't worry, early detection helps manage it like a pro!
