While PKD is a serious, progressive condition, it's not immediately fatal for most, but it can lead to kidney failure over time.

My neighbour's uncle had this. It is a serious condition, yes, and can lead to kidney failure eventually. But with proper medical management, many people live for many years. It's important to trust the doctors and follow their advice very closely. Don't lose hope.

I heard about PKD and it sounds so scary. The idea of kidney cysts growing just makes me anxious. Does it always lead to kidney failure? And is it true that it can be managed for a long time before it becomes very serious? I hope so, it's a terrifying thought.

When I first heard about Polycystic Kidney Disease, I totally panicked, thinking it was an immediate death sentence. But then I read up and spoke to a nephrologist. It's a progressive disease, meaning it gets worse over time, but with current treatments and lifestyle changes, people can live long, fulfilling lives. It's not immediately fatal, don't worry.

PKD is definitely serious, but it's not like it's immediately fatal! Many people manage it for years with good medical care. The key is early diagnosis and consistent treatment to slow down progression. Stay positive and follow your doctor's advice! ✨

PKD is very serious, especially if not managed. It can indeed lead to kidney failure, which can be fatal without dialysis or transplant. For people with high BP like me, managing it becomes even more crucial. Regular checkups, controlling BP, and a healthy lifestyle are super important to slow down its progression.
