Is pink salt good for diabetics?

I'm diabetic and trying to make healthier choices with my food. My neighbour suggested using pink salt instead of regular salt. Is pink salt actually good for diabetics?

Pink salt for diabetics? Well, it's still salt, not a magic sugar-lowerer! 😂 It might look fancy and have some trace minerals, but it won't cancel out a laddoo, you know? Just use any salt in moderation, and keep an eye on your sugar levels. Don't stress too much about the color of your salt!

For diabetics, it's not about the type of salt, but the quantity. Pink salt, like common table salt, is still sodium. Excess sodium can lead to high blood pressure, which is a common comorbidity for diabetics. So, while it might have trace minerals, don't assume it's 'good'. Focus on overall sodium reduction and consult your doctor or a dietician.

I've seen so many posts about pink salt lately, everyone saying it's so healthy. But for diabetics, I always thought salt was something to be careful with, regardless of color. It's confusing to know what's actually beneficial versus just marketing hype.

Bhai, salt is salt. Pink ho ya white, it's sodium. Diabetics ko salt kam khana chahiye, doctor yahi bolte hain. Don't fall for fads, focus on less salt overall and good control of your sugar. Simple hai.

My grandad has diabetes, and doc told him to cut down on all salt, pink or regular. He says pink salt has some extra minerals but it's still sodium, man. So yeah, don't think it's a free pass. Less salt is the key, that's it.
