Is pedialyte good for fever?

My son has a high fever and is not drinking much water. My sister told me to give him Pedialyte, but I wanted to check if it's actually good for fever.

When we have fever, the body needs gentle care and hydration. Pedialyte provides electrolytes that can help replenish what's lost due to sweating or sickness. While it's not a cure for fever itself, it supports the body's recovery. Drink plenty of water and rest, and if fever persists, a doctor's wisdom is always best.

For fever, the main concern is dehydration. Pedialyte can help with that by providing electrolytes. But it's not medicine to reduce fever. If you or your child has a fever, especially if it's high or persistent, please don't just rely on rehydration. You must see a doctor to find the cause and get proper treatment. Always better to be safe.

Yes, for kids and even adults during a fever, especially if there's vomiting or diarrhea with it, Pedialyte is good for preventing dehydration. It replaces the lost salts and fluids. It's not a fever reducer, but it helps keep them hydrated and feeling a bit better. We always keep some at home when the kids are sick.

Sun, fever mein body se paani aur namak nikal jaate hain. Pedialyte wohi electrolytes wapas daalta hai. Toh haan, dehydration rokne ke liye achha hai. Lekin fever theek karne ke liye nahi hai. Agar bukhar tez hai ya nahi utar raha, toh doctor ke paas jaao. Khud ka doctor mat bano.

Pedialyte is primarily an oral rehydration solution, designed to replace fluids and electrolytes lost due to illness, which can be beneficial during a fever. It helps prevent dehydration. However, it does not treat the fever itself. For managing fever and its underlying cause, especially if it's high or prolonged, professional medical advice from a doctor is always recommended.

Beta, jab bukhar hota hai na, toh sharir se paani nikalta hai. Pedialyte us paani aur namak ko wapas daal deta hai. Toh dehydration nahi hota. Isliye, haan, achha hai. Lekin bukhar kyon aaya hai, yeh toh doctor hi batayenge. Unse milkar dawa lena zaroori hai.
