Is peanut butter bad for kidney stones?

I've had kidney stones once, and I'm trying to avoid getting them again. I enjoy eating peanut butter, but I heard some foods can contribute to stones. Is peanut butter bad for kidney stones?

For kidney stones, it really depends on the type of stone. Peanuts have oxalates, which can be an issue for some. If you are prone to oxalate stones, then maybe limit peanut butter. For specific advice, especially if you have had stones before, always consult a doctor, don't rely only on home tips.

Having dealt with kidney stone complications, I'm very careful about my diet now. Peanuts are relatively high in oxalates, and some kidney stones are made of calcium oxalate. So, if you're prone to oxalate stones, peanut butter might be something to limit. Please, talk to your urologist or a renal dietitian; self-diagnosing can be risky.

For kidney stones, diet is very particular, just like with high BP. Peanuts contain oxalates, and if your stones are oxalate-based, then peanut butter might not be good. Always get your stone type identified and consult your doctor or a renal dietician for specific dietary advice. Lifestyle changes and regular checkups are key.

Dude, I heard that peanuts can have oxalates, and those can cause certain kidney stones. So if you get those kinds of stones, you might wanna go easy on the peanut butter. Better to just ask your doc, honestly.
