Is pcos treatable?

My periods have been very irregular for months, and I'm gaining weight quickly even though I'm trying to eat healthy. My gynaecologist mentioned PCOS might be the cause. I'm really scared, is it something that can actually be treated or cured?

Namaste. PCOS can be managed very effectively, haan. While there isn't a 'cure' per se, lifestyle changes like regular yoga, pranayama, and mindful eating make a big difference. I've seen many women find relief and balance this way.

PCOS can be managed well, like diabetes. It's not about a 'cure' but about controlling symptoms. Diet plays a huge role – less sugar, less processed food. Regular doctor visits and sticking to your plan is key.

My daughter has PCOS, and yes, it's treatable in terms of managing the symptoms and improving quality of life. The doctor gave her medicines, and we focus a lot on her diet and making sure she exercises. It needs consistent effort, but it gets better.

It can feel overwhelming, I know! But yes, PCOS is definitely manageable. It's not something that just goes away, but with the right doctor, diet, and exercise, you can control the symptoms. Don't lose hope, many people live full, healthy lives with it.

Haan ji, PCOS is absolutely manageable, though 'cure' is a strong word for hormonal conditions. It's about bringing your body into balance with medical guidance and consistent lifestyle changes. Focus on a good diet, exercise, and stress management. You'll see good results.
