Hey, don't stress too much about finding the perfect magic tea. Oolong tea is nice and has good antioxidants, but it won't cure diabetes on its own. Just enjoy a warm cup if you like the taste, but keep an eye on your regular diet too.
Haan na, oolong tea is good for health, my neighbor also drinks it. It has no sugar and is much better than our regular tea with lots of milk and sugar. Try it, but sugar control needs proper doctor checkups regularly.
I have been drinking oolong tea without sugar in the evenings, and it definitely feels lighter on my stomach than regular milk tea. I haven't noticed any drastic drop in my sugar levels, but it makes me feel fresh. That's just my personal experience though.
At this point, if someone tells me bitter gourd juice or oolong tea is good, I will drink it! It is definitely better than having sugary chai, but don't expect it to cancel out the sweets you ate yesterday. Keep taking your regular diabetes medicines.
While oolong tea does contain polyphenols which may help improve insulin sensitivity, it is not a replacement for medical treatment. It can be a healthy addition to your lifestyle, but always consult your doctor before replacing any prescribed medicines.
My dad has diabetes and he switched to oolong tea recently. He says it tastes a bit different but he feels less bloated. It's a cool healthy option to replace normal sweet tea if u want to cut down on sugar.
I drink any tea I can find just to stay awake, but yes, oolong tea is supposed to be good for managing sugar. Just make sure you don't add sugar or honey to it, otherwise the whole point is lost.
