Is online school better for mental health?

I'm a student and sometimes online classes feel less stressful, but then I also miss my friends. Do you think online school is actually better for mental health in the long run? I'm trying to decide for next year.

For kids in small towns, going to a real school teaches them how to talk to people and make friends. Online school keeps them locked in a room all day which makes them lonely. Real play and running around with friends is better for their mind.

It can be really tough. I struggled so much with anxiety and loneliness during my online classes because there was no boundary between home and study. If you are feeling down or isolated because of online school, your feelings are completely valid.

Online school often leads to a very sedentary lifestyle and constant snacking on junk. Physical health and mental health go hand in hand, so staying home all day is not good. If doing online school, make sure to eat fresh fruits and green veggies to keep the mood positive.

It really depends on the individual child; while online school reduces bullying, it also limits social development. A balanced approach is ideal, but if you notice severe anxiety or withdrawal, consulting a child psychologist is the best path forward.

Please don't force yourself if the screen time is giving you headaches and making you feel low. It is okay to take breaks and talk to your parents about how you feel. Your mental peace is far more important than any online lecture.

Going to school is so much fun because of the gossip and lunch sharing! Online school just feels like staring at a wall of boxes. Going out definitely keeps the mood happy and energetic.

In our times, we only had regular schools, and learning to adjust with different kinds of children made us strong. Online school might look comfortable, but facing the world is what actually builds real confidence in life. Don't fear social interaction.

I can't say for sure what is best, but staying home during online classes messed up my routine and triggered my PCOS symptoms due to lack of movement and high stress. A hybrid model or going to school might help maintain a better daily rhythm.

Honestly, online school can get super boring and depressing after a point, yaar. You actually miss out on all the fun canteen chats and sports. Unless there's a serious medical reason, offline school is much better for mental sanity.

Spending time in nature and playing outdoors is the best natural remedy for stress. If online school is making a child very quiet and depressed, try natural remedies like yoga first. But if the sadness is deep, please see a professional doctor.
