Is olive oil good for arthritis?

My knees have been aching a lot lately, and the doctor said it's arthritis. My granddaughter suggested trying olive oil for some relief. Is olive oil good for arthritis?

Haan, olive oil mein anti-inflammatory properties hoti hain jo joints ke liye bahut acchi hain. Mere pitaji ko ghutno mein dard rehta tha, unhone khane mein extra virgin olive oil use karna start kiya aur thoda farq pada. Par thoda regular exercise bhi zaroori hai, na?

I completely understand how frustrating and exhausting chronic joint pain can be. Olive oil contains a compound called oleocanthal, which works similarly to some anti-inflammatory medicines. Adding it to your salads might give you some natural relief over time.

At 68, joint pain is an old friend of mine. I have tried many remedies, and eating a Mediterranean-style diet with olive oil has kept me moving without too many painkillers. Give it a few months, natural changes take time to show results.

Olive oil is highly rated on food tracking apps for its high antioxidant and omega-9 content. It helps reduce systemic inflammation which is the root cause of arthritis pain. Definitely try replacing your refined oils with it.

I had terrible joint stiffness last winter. Along with physiotherapy, I switched my cooking oil to extra virgin olive oil. The swelling in my hands has significantly reduced now, it really works as a natural anti-inflammatory.
