Is nizoral good for dandruff?

My scalp has been super itchy and flaky lately, and I think it's dandruff. A friend recommended Nizoral shampoo. Is Nizoral actually good for dandruff?

At this age, my hair is already leaving my head, so I have to be very careful with what is left! Nizoral is actually quite good for heavy dandruff because it is medicated, but don't use it daily unless you want a scalp as dry as the Sahara desert. Twice a week is more than enough.

I can only share what worked for me when I had crazy itchy dandruff last winter. Nizoral really cleared up my scalp flakes in about three washes, but I made sure to use a good conditioner on the hair ends because it can be drying. Everyone's scalp is different though!

Nizoral definitely helps knock out the fungal element of dandruff, but also look at your lifestyle. Excessive sweating during workouts without washing your scalp properly can build up build-up and yeast. Keep your diet clean and wash your hair post-workout.

My mother always told me to apply warm coconut oil with lemon juice for dandruff, which is good for mild scaling. But when the itching became too intense, our family doctor advised me to use Nizoral shampoo. It has the right active ingredients to treat the actual scalp infection safely.

My teenage son had severe, thick dandruff flakes that wouldn't go away with regular shampoos. Our pediatrician suggested using a ketoconazole shampoo like Nizoral twice a week, and it worked wonders for him. Just keep it away from the eyes as it can sting quite a bit.

Yes bro, Nizoral is super effective for stubborn dandruff. I had tried all those commercial anti-dandruff shampoos but they did nothing. Nizoral cleared it up in two weeks, just leave it on your scalp for 5 minutes before rinsing.
