Is naproxen good for tooth pain?

I have a terrible toothache and the local chemist gave me naproxen for it. Will this medication be effective for tooth pain? I'm really struggling here.

I know how miserable a toothache can make you, it is so painful. Naproxen is good to reduce the deep throbbing and swelling in the gums. Along with it, try holding a warm salt water rinse in your mouth for a minute, it really helps clean the area and gives quick comfort.

Please stay positive, this painful phase will pass soon. Naproxen can help ease the severe physical pain so you can rest your mind. Take care of yourself, drink warm liquids, and see a dentist as soon as possible.

It works well because it targets the inflammation in the gums, but it is just a temporary fix. If you have an infection or a deep cavity, you need a proper dental treatment, not just painkillers. Go visit a clinic.

I have a mild toothache and was thinking of taking this medicine. Is it safe to take naproxen if I already took an antacid in the morning, or should I wait for some time? Sorry, I am a bit confused about this.

At this age, either it is a backache or a toothache keeping me awake at night. Naproxen did help me survive the night during a wisdom tooth issue, but it made my acidity so bad I didn't know which pain was worse. Definitely eat something before taking it!

Oh god, tooth pain is literally the worst thing ever! Naproxen will definitely help calm down that crazy throbbing, so don't stress too much. Just book an appointment with your dentist tomorrow morning and get it sorted, okay?
