Is nad good for cancer patients?

My distant relative is undergoing cancer treatment, and I heard someone talking about NAD supplements being helpful for cancer patients. I'm curious to know if NAD is indeed good for people battling cancer, or if it's just a rumour.

With serious conditions like cancer, we cannot afford to rely on internet advice about NAD boosters. It is highly experimental and can interact with ongoing chemotherapy or radiation. Go directly to their treating oncologist and ask them.

For cancer patients, even natural foods and dietary changes must be discussed with the oncologist first. NAD plays a big role in cell energy, so you should never take it without expert advice. Stick to simple, light vegetarian meals as recommended by their doctor.

Cancer care requires extreme caution because tumor cells also use cellular energy pathways. Since NAD affects cellular metabolism, taking it could have unpredictable effects. Please do not give any such supplement without their doctor's clearance.

I love exploring food, but when my relative was undergoing cancer treatment, we realized even simple herbs can affect therapy. NAD is quite trendy online, but cancer is too serious for trends. Stick to whatever comfort food the doctor allows and avoid self-prescribed supplements.

My father had severe complications during his therapy because we tried some unprescribed wellness supplements. I strongly advise you to never give NAD or any other booster to a cancer patient without checking with their oncologist. Safety first.
