Is motrin for fever?

My son had a slight fever last night. My mother-in-law suggested giving him Motrin, but I always thought that was for pain. Is Motrin also used to bring down fever?

Yes, absolutely! Motrin contains ibuprofen, which is an NSAID. It's very effective for reducing fever and also for pain relief. When my kids get a fever, after consulting the pediatrician, we often use ibuprofen. Just make sure you follow the dosage based on age or weight and don't overdose. It usually brings down the fever quite quickly.

Yes, Motrin works well for fever. It's an ibuprofen-based medicine, generally affordable and widely available. When anyone in my family gets a fever, I check the medicine cabinet first. It's a practical choice for managing symptoms while you figure out the cause. No need for expensive tests for a simple fever initially, just manage symptoms responsibly.

While Motrin (ibuprofen) does help with fever, please be careful. I once took it for a high fever and had an unexpected reaction. Always check if you have any underlying conditions like asthma, kidney issues, or stomach problems before taking it. It's truly safer to consult a doctor, especially if the fever is very high or persistent.

Yes, it is! Motrin (ibuprofen) is great for bringing down fever and also helps with pain. It's a common go-to medicine for many. Just follow the dose mentioned on the pack, and you should be good! 😊 If fever persists, always see a doctor! 👩‍⚕️

Oh god, yes! Motrin for fever, YES. When you're running on zero sleep because of a fever, anything that brings it down is a blessing. It really helps me knock out that fever and get some rest. But like, take it as directed, don't go crazy and overdose, okay? Sleep is precious!
