Is milk good for acidity stomach?

Been having a lot of stomach acidity lately, especially after lunch. My dad always says to drink milk for it, but I'm not sure if it actually helps or makes it worse. What's the truth about milk and acidity?

Milk for acidity? It's like calling your ex when you're lonely – might feel good for a minute, but things often get worse later! 😉 Seriously though, depends on your stomach. Some find relief, others get more trouble. Don't make it a habit, yaar.

Short-term, yes, it can provide relief by coating the stomach lining. But long-term, for some, the fat and protein in milk can stimulate more acid production. So, it's not a solution, just a temporary band-aid. Better to understand your triggers.

Beti, hamare gaon mein toh log thanda doodh peete hain jab jalan hoti hai pet mein. Thodi der ke liye theek lagta hai. Par agar acidity roz hoti hai, toh doctor ko dikhao. Bina wajah pareshan mat ho.

Having thyroid issues, I've learned that everything is interconnected. While milk might feel good for a moment with acidity, it's not a solution. For persistent stomach issues, regular doctor consultations and understanding what truly causes it for you is important. Don't just self-medicate.
