Is malaria caused by a virus?

My son's science homework asked about disease causes, and we were discussing malaria. He thinks it's a virus, but I'm not so sure. Is malaria caused by a virus?

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think it's a virus. Whenever I have some health doubt, especially with my PCOS, I always cross-check with my doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry, you know?

Actually, no, malaria is not caused by a virus. It's a parasitic disease. For accurate medical information, it's always best to consult a healthcare professional. Self-diagnosis or relying on unverified sources can be misleading.

Arre, nahi, nahi! Virus nahi hai woh. Malaria toh mosquito ke kaatne se hota hai na. Always be careful about mosquitoes, especially after rains, ho na?

Yaar, actually it's not a virus. Malaria is caused by a parasite, not a virus. Mosquitoes spread it, so keep your windows shut in the evening, best advice. Stay safe!

I've tried so many things for different fevers. Malaria is a tricky one, and I remember my grandmother always saying it's not like flu. It's carried by mosquitoes, not a virus directly. Stay away from stagnant water, that's important.

Virus, bacteria, parasite, oh god, sometimes it all just makes my head spin! But no, malaria is from a parasite that a mosquito brings. Just one more thing to worry about in our lives, haan? 😂

Hey! Don't stress too much about the exact medical term. What I know is it's from mosquitoes, not a virus. Just make sure to use repellent and keep your surroundings clean, that's the main thing!
