Is lung cancer contagious?

My neighbor was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and now I'm feeling a bit anxious, especially since we share a wall. I wanted to know, is lung cancer contagious? Can I catch it from being around someone who has it?

No, it is definitely not contagious. However, if a lung cancer patient develops any sudden infections, fever, or breathing difficulty, please consult their oncologist immediately to avoid complications.

It is completely non-contagious. Please stay positive, take good care of your family, and share your warmth and love with those who are battling this illness.

Not at all! You cannot get lung cancer by hugging, kissing, or sharing meals with a patient. They need a lot of love, so don't hesitate to be close to them.

No, it is not contagious. However, since cancer treatments lower their immunity, make sure you wear a mask if you have a cold so you don't pass your infections to them.

No, it doesn't spread from person to person like a common cold. Don't believe such myths and support the patient nicely without any fear.

It is not contagious at all. Keep their room clean and airy, and feed them home-cooked warm meals. For any serious breathing issues, always rely on their doctor's advice.

Definitely not contagious! You can safely sit together and share a nice, healthy home-cooked meal with them. Good food and happiness are great for recovery.

I totally get it if you were worried, but lung cancer is 100% non-contagious. You can be around them as much as they need without any worries.

Thank you for clarifying this. I was a bit confused. Does this mean other cancers are also non-contagious, or is it just lung cancer? I am trying to learn more about this.

No way! You can't catch lung cancer like a viral fever. So go ahead and spend quality time with them, no space suits required!
