Is lung cancer contagious disease?

My uncle, who smokes, recently got diagnosed with lung cancer, and his family is quite worried. We were discussing it and some relatives were concerned about contagion. Is lung cancer a contagious disease that can spread to others?

No, lung cancer is completely non-contagious. You can safely stay close to patients and help them during their treatment.

In my long life, I have seen many families go through this. I can tell you with certainty that it is not contagious at all. Please care for your loved ones with an open heart.

It is not contagious. However, if a patient has a severe, continuous cough, they should definitely see a doctor to rule out any underlying infections that could spread.

No, it is a non-communicable condition caused by cell mutation. Practicing pranayama keeps your lungs healthy, but you don't need to worry about catching cancer from anyone.
