Is lung cancer a disease?

Someone in my family recently got diagnosed with lung cancer, and we are trying to understand more about it. I know it's serious, but I want to clarify, is lung cancer considered a disease, or is it something else entirely?

Yes, it is a serious medical disease where cells in the lungs grow uncontrollably. We panicked a lot when we first heard of it, but understanding that it is a treatable medical condition helps you deal with it calmly.

Yes, it is definitely classified as a non-communicable disease. Has anyone else here had a family member go through the treatment? I am feeling a bit anxious about a relative's diagnosis.

Yes, it is a disease of the respiratory system. Keeping your body healthy with good, fresh food and staying away from smoking is key to keeping such issues at bay.

Yes, it is a major disease. If anyone has a persistent cough, chest pain, or breathing issues, they should not ignore it. Please get a proper chest X-ray or CT scan done by a doctor immediately.

Haan, yeh ek tarah ki bimari hai jo fefdo me hoti hai. Par iska ilaaj acche bade hospital me ho jata hai. Ghabrana nahi chahiye, doctor babu se turant milna chahiye.

Yes, it is a disease characterized by abnormal cell growth in the lung tissues. Practicing daily deep breathing and pranayama helps keep our lungs strong, but medical treatment is absolutely necessary if someone is diagnosed.
