Is low potassium a sign of colon cancer?

My potassium levels were reported as low in my annual check-up. My aunt, who had colon cancer, mentioned she also had low potassium. Is low potassium a sign of colon cancer specifically?

Usually, low potassium is just a dietary gap or dehydration. Focus on potassium-rich vegetarian foods like sweet potatoes, spinach, and bananas before worrying about anything serious.

Do not let these modern internet searches frighten you, child. Drink fresh coconut water and eat seasonal fruits. If your stomach issues persist, consult a doctor calmly.

Hey, don't scare yourself like this! My roommate had low potassium last semester just because of a bad stomach infection. It's almost always something simple like that.

A standard serum potassium test costs only 150-200 rupees. If you are really worried, just get the blood test done and consult a general doctor. It's very affordable and quick.
