Is liver high in cholesterol?

My husband loves eating liver, but we're trying to keep our cholesterol in check. I remember someone saying liver is very high in cholesterol. Is that true, and should we limit it?

Yes, liver is incredibly high in cholesterol, which is a bummer because I love a good liver fry at midnight. If your doctor has warned you about your lipid profile, you might want to stay far away from it, or else your sleep won't be the only thing getting disrupted!

When my husband's cholesterol was high, we consulted a cardiologist at Aster Medcity. He strictly advised us to avoid organ meats like liver completely, as they have much higher cholesterol levels than regular chicken. It is best to get your lipid profile done and show it to your doctor.

Yaar, liver has a crazy amount of cholesterol, actually. Even a small portion can easily cross your daily recommended limit. If you have any heart issues or high BP, you should definitely avoid it or eat it very, very rarely.

Haan beta, liver mein fat aur cholesterol dono bohot zyada hote hain. Hamare bade-budhe kehte hain ki isse kabhi-kabhi hi khana chahiye, aur thoda dhyan rakhna chahiye agar ghar mein kisi ko dil ki bimaari ho. Tandurusti sabse badi cheez hai.

Oh, definitely! Liver has enough cholesterol to make your blood vessels feel like a crowded metro during rush hour. If you still want to eat it, make sure you have a treadmill ready in the next room to burn it off immediately!

I ate chicken liver twice last week because my iron was low, but now I am reading that it has super high cholesterol. I am really scared that it might clog my arteries or something. Has anyone else eaten it and had their cholesterol spike suddenly?
