Is liver detox a real thing?

I keep seeing ads for liver detox kits and special diets. My friends also swear by them, but I'm a bit skeptical. Is liver detox a real thing that actually works, or just a marketing gimmick?

Honestly, those expensive detox teas and juices are a complete scam. Your liver itself is a natural detox machine and doesn't need external products. Just cut down on alcohol and junk food, that is the only real detox.

When I asked my hepatologist at Max Hospital about liver detox kits, he laughed and said they can actually cause more harm. Please ask your doctor clearly before putting any random detox powders into your body.

Don't fall for these fancy packing boxes online. Just drink plenty of warm water, eat simple home-cooked food, and avoid heavy oils for a few days. That is more than enough to keep your liver happy and healthy.

If liver detox was real, I would have washed down my yesterday's Biryani with some magic green juice and slept like a baby. Sadly, the only real detox is getting actual sleep and stopping the late-night snacking.

Bro, those Instagram detox drinks are just hyped up sugar water. Our biology teacher literally told us the liver cleans itself 24/7. Save your money and just drink plain water instead.
