Is liver cirrhosis curable?

My father has been dealing with liver issues for a while, and the doctor recently mentioned cirrhosis. We're feeling very disheartened. Is liver cirrhosis curable, or is it a permanent condition?

At the hospital where my uncle goes, the doctors told us that advanced cirrhosis cannot be reversed, but you can stop it from getting worse. Go to a reputed gastroenterologist and ask them clearly about what stage it is and the options.

While it can't be completely reversed once serious damage is done, you can absolutely manage it well and live a happy life! 😊 Just keep a positive mindset and follow the treatment closely!

Realistically, once the liver is scarred, it cannot be cured back to normal. The focus must be on stopping further damage through lifestyle changes and regular medications. Save your time and focus on managing the symptoms instead of looking for miracle cures.

In my experience, while deep physical scarring is hard to reverse, a very disciplined routine of light yoga, pranayama, and simple, fresh food can greatly improve your daily energy and liver strain. Keep your mind calm and your body moving gently.

I agree with others that it can't be fully cured, but proper medical treatment can definitely halt the progression.
