I was actually reading up on this yesterday out of curiosity, and no, liver cirrhosis is not contagious at all. It is just scarring of liver tissue from things like alcohol or long-term fatty liver, not an infection you can catch.

Nahi bhaiya, ye chhua-chhoot ki bimari nahi hoti hai. Isme bimar insan ke paas baithne se ya unka haath pakadne se koi darr nahi hai. Unki ache se sewa kariye.

I panicked so much when a relative was diagnosed, thinking our whole family was at risk. But the doctor clearly told us it is completely non-contagious. You can relax, there is no risk of catching it.

It is not contagious. Cirrhosis is a physical wear and tear of the liver over many years. Regular deep breathing and clean living can help keep the body stable, but you cannot catch this from anyone.

Are you also super worried about this? I kept washing my hands constantly when my uncle had it because I was so scared. Did anyone else feel this level of anxiety before finding out it doesn't spread?

From what I understand about chronic conditions, cirrhosis isn't something you can catch like a flu. But since liver health can be tricky, it is always best to let a specialist handle their overall care plan.

As someone who sees patients daily, I can tell you cirrhosis isn't contagious. You don't need masks or separate utensils. Just ensure they take their prescribed liver medications on time.

When my grandfather had cirrhosis, the family stayed with him throughout without anyone getting sick. In my experience, it does not spread, but for any medical doubts, do ask their specialist.

It is not contagious, so you can save money on sanitizers or extra isolation setups. Better to save that budget for their routine blood tests and doctor consultations which can add up.

My friend's father had this, and honestly, we all hung out at their house normally. It is absolutely not contagious, so you don't have to keep any distance. Just keep them in high spirits!

No, cirrhosis is a non-communicable structural damage of the liver. However, to understand the exact root cause, it is best to consult a hepatologist who can guide you on patient care.

While cirrhosis itself is not contagious, the viral hepatitis that sometimes causes it can be infectious. It is highly recommended to get the patient and yourself checked by a doctor to stay fully safe.

In my long life, I have seen many people struggle with liver issues. Let me assure you, it does not spread from one person to another. Just give them your love and support, that is what they need most.

Hey, take a deep breath. Cirrhosis is not contagious, so please don't worry about getting infected. Just be there for them and make sure they eat clean, fresh meals.
