Is liver cancer curable?

A relative of mine just found out they have liver cancer. We're all very concerned and trying to understand if liver cancer is something that can be completely cured these days.

Actually yaar, it depends entirely on the stage. If it's caught early, doctors can do surgery or even a liver transplant, which can cure it. But if it has spread, then it gets really difficult to cure completely, though treatments can still help manage it.

My father's oncologist explained that localized liver cancer can be cured through surgical removal or liver transplantation. There are also targeted therapies and immunotherapies that help control advanced cases. The key is finding a highly experienced liver specialist as soon as possible.

We went to Medanta for a family member's liver consultation, and the doctors there were very clear. They said it is highly curable in the early stages through resection or transplant. I suggest booking an appointment at a major super-specialty hospital to get a precise opinion.
