Is liver a good source of protein?

I'm trying to increase my protein intake for muscle building. I'm wondering if liver is considered a good source of protein or if there are better options.

Liver is a very good source of protein and doesn't have carbs, which is great for diabetes. However, it is high in cholesterol, so I eat it in very limited quantities. If you are diabetic, consult your doctor about how often you can have it.

It is indeed a rich source of protein for those who consume meat. For vegetarian souls, paneer and lentils are also blessed with great protein. Whichever path you choose, eat with gratitude and keep your body healthy.

I can only speak from my own gym journey. Eating a small portion of liver once a week gave me a noticeable boost in energy and met my protein needs perfectly. It's a heavy food, so see how your stomach reacts to it.

Look, if you want pure protein, liver is fantastic. It is lean and extremely nutritious. Just don't eat it daily because too much of it isn't good either. Twice a month is more than enough for a healthy person.

While it is a rich source of protein, liver also contains high levels of cholesterol and purines. If you have gout or high cholesterol, it might not be suitable for you. Please get your lipid profile checked and ask your doctor before adding it to your regular diet.

It's an amazing source of clean protein for muscle recovery. I include chicken liver in my post-workout meals sometimes. Combined with regular strength training and jogging, it really helps in maintaining muscle mass.

I know it has amazing protein and iron, but I always overthink about where the meat came from and if it's safe. If you do eat it, make sure it is washed thoroughly and cooked extremely well to avoid any infections.

My son needed a high-protein diet after recovering from an illness, and the doctor suggested liver. It is excellent for growing kids because it gives high protein along with essential minerals. I cook it with very little oil and black pepper for him.

Haan, mutton liver mein protein toh bhar-bhar ke hota hai. Gym jaane wale ladke bhi ise kaafi pasand karte hain. Bas dhyan rakhna ki ise zyada tel-masale mein mat banana, nahi toh healthy nahi rahega.

Bro, liver is literally a protein powerhouse! If you eat non-veg, it's one of the best and cheapest ways to get high-quality protein. Just enjoy it once in a while and don't stress too much about the details.

Agree, liver is highly nutritious and packed with protein. Just make sure to source it from a clean, hygienic butcher.

I read that liver has a lot of protein, but I'm slightly worried about the high vitamin A content in it. Has anyone else felt hesitant about eating it regularly because of this? I want to increase my protein but don't want to overdo other nutrients.
