Is kombucha good for your liver?

My doctor told me to take better care of my liver. I've heard a lot of buzz about kombucha being good for health. Is kombucha good for your liver, or is it just a fad?

It can be good for gut health in moderation, but there's no major proof it does anything special for your liver.

I had minor fatty liver issues and researched this thoroughly before trying any fermented drinks. The reality is that kombucha won't cure or treat liver issues, and excessive consumption of sugary versions can actually worsen fatty liver. Stick to a low-carb diet, exercise, and limit these drinks to once a week at most.

In my experience, keeping the liver healthy is best achieved through gentle yoga twists, Kapalbhati pranayama, and simple Satvik food. These modern fermented drinks like kombucha can sometimes be too acidic for a sensitive stomach. I prefer relying on clean water and natural herbal teas instead.

Haan, some people say it helps in detox, but honestly, overdoing it can cause acidity issues na. If you are buying it, make sure it is from a good brand because bad yeast in home fermentation can harm the liver.

I drank kombucha daily for a month thinking it would clear my skin and detox my system. Honestly, I didn't feel any major difference except some bloating, so I just stopped. Normal home-cooked food is way better for keeping your system clean.
