Is kidney stones worse than giving birth?

I've heard people say that kidney stone pain is even worse than giving birth. As someone who has been through childbirth, I find that hard to imagine! Is kidney stone pain truly considered more severe than labor pain? Bahut dar lagta hai sochke.

I cannot comment on childbirth, but as a man who has had a kidney stone, the pain was severe enough to shoot my blood pressure up to dangerous levels. It is a massive physical shock to the body, so getting your kidney health and BP monitored regularly is crucial.

My mother has experienced both and she honestly says that kidney stone pain is just as bad, if not worse, because there is no beautiful baby at the end of it! It is an incredibly sharp and exhausting pain, so please take care and drink lots of water.

Both demand incredible endurance from the body's nervous system. When the intense spasms of kidney stones hit, practicing very gentle, slow breathing can help relax the pelvic muscles slightly, but clinical medical relief is absolutely essential for such severe pain.

Many doctors and women who have been through both actually agree that kidney stone pain can be worse than labor pain. It hits suddenly and has no rhythmic breaks. If you are dealing with it, don't try to brave it out; get medical help immediately.
