Is kidney part of digestive system?

During a biology class, we were discussing different body systems, and I got a bit confused about where the kidneys fit in. Is the kidney considered a part of the digestive system? Or does it have a different role altogether?

No, the kidneys are actually part of the urinary or excretory system, not digestion. But they are highly affected by what we eat and our blood pressure. Keep monitoring your BP regularly, as high pressure can severely damage these filters over time.

Nahi bhaiya, kidney pachan tantra ka hissa nahi hai, ye humare khoon ko saaf karti hai aur peshab banati hai. Par haan, accha khana peena rakhoge toh kidney bhi achhi rahegi aur pet bhi thik rahega.

I totally get it, since they are all located in the same abdominal area, it is so easy to mix up which organ does what! But actually, kidneys filter your blood and make urine, so they are part of the excretory system, not digestion. Hope this helps clear it up!

Actually, kidneys are part of the excretory system, bro. They basically filter out the waste from your blood and make urine, while the digestive system is all about stomach and intestines. Just a basic science fact, but useful to know!

I used to panic thinking my stomach pain was actually kidney failure, so I researched this a lot! Kidneys are part of the urinary system, not digestion, but they work closely together to keep us healthy. If you are feeling anxious about any symptoms, please don't worry, but do see a doctor for peace of mind.

Biologically, the kidneys belong to the renal/urinary system, which filters waste from your blood. While digestion processes food, the kidneys handle blood filtration. For any concerns regarding organ health, consulting a specialist is always the most logical path.

The kidneys belong to the excretory system, filtering out toxins from our life force, the blood. To keep them healthy, drinking warm water and avoiding overly salty pickles is a good traditional practice. But for any real medical doubt, always consult an expert.

No, kidneys are part of the urinary/renal system, not the digestive system. My physician explained that while the digestive tract absorbs nutrients, the kidneys are responsible for filtering blood plasma, regulating electrolytes, and maintaining fluid balance in the body.

Every organ in our body has its own divine purpose, and the kidneys work silently to purify our blood, functioning as part of the urinary system. Take care of your body, keep a positive mindset, and eat clean foods to support all your internal systems.

They aren't part of digestion, they are part of the urinary system. I once ignored back aches and swollen feet thinking it was just gas or indigestion, which was a huge mistake. Please get a proper doctor's checkup if you feel something is wrong with your body.
