Is kidney failure a permanent disability?

Someone in my extended family is going through kidney failure and it's making life very difficult for them. I'm trying to figure out if this is something that can be considered a permanent disability, meaning it won't go away. Kya yeh life-long problem hai?

Haan yaar, agar chronic kidney failure ho toh use permanent hi maante hain jab tak transplant na ho jaye. Government rules mein bhi iske liye disability benefits milte hain, toh ek baar check karwa lo na.

Legally it is treated as a permanent disability in India for pension and job benefits if you are on dialysis. Go to your local government hospital's medical board, they have a very standard process to issue the certificate.

Haan na, if the kidneys have completely stopped working, then it is a permanent struggle unless a transplant happens. Daily life becomes very difficult with dialysis, so the disability status helps the patients a lot.

From what I have read during my regular medical checkups, chronic kidney failure is considered long-term unless a successful transplant is done. It is best to consult your nephrologist to get the correct certificates for any government benefits.

It is considered a major physical challenge, but a successful transplant can bring life back to normal! Keep your hopes high because modern medicine has advanced so much today.
