Is kidney disease curable?

My father-in-law has been told he has early-stage kidney disease, and we are trying to find out all possible ways to manage it. We're hoping it doesn't get worse. Is kidney disease curable, or is it a lifelong condition?

It depends on the stage, but early damage can be managed really well. Regular light walking and keeping your body active helps control blood pressure, which is great for kidney health. Always ask your doctor before starting any exercise routine though.

From what I know managing my PCOS, chronic conditions usually can't be completely 'cured' but they can be managed so well that they don't affect your life. Don't fall for fake claims of 100% cure; stick to real medical advice.

Early kidney damage is often manageable and can sometimes be reversed, but advanced chronic kidney disease is usually not completely curable.

Honestly, my sleep schedule is so cured that I shouldn't give advice, but chronic kidney issues usually just get managed, not cured. Once the damage is done, you just try to stop it from getting worse. Get a proper nephrologist's opinion.

Actually, if it's acute kidney injury, it can heal completely, yaar. But chronic kidney disease is more about stopping the progress with diet and meds. Don't worry, people live long, normal lives with it.

Please be very careful. My father ignored his high creatinine thinking it would cure itself, and we had major complications later. Go to a good hospital and get a proper treatment plan instead of waiting.
