Is jackfruit good for diabetes?

My doctor told me to cut down on sugar for my diabetes. I love eating jackfruit, especially when it's in season. Is jackfruit good for diabetes, or does it have too much sugar?

Oh, I heard about jackfruit being good for some things. Is it the raw one or the ripe one that helps, if it does? I'm curious.

Haye Ram, if jackfruit could cure diabetes, all of us would be eating it morning, noon, and night! Jokes aside, I heard raw jackfruit sabzi might be better than the ripe, sweet one. But for diabetes, better ask the doctor, they always have the final say.

For diabetes management, proper diet and regular blood sugar monitoring are key, which can involve some costs. While raw jackfruit is sometimes suggested as a low-GI option, the ripe one is very sweet and can spike sugar. Don't swap medication for jackfruit. Consult a doctor or dietician to plan your diet practically.

Yes, actually! Raw jackfruit (kathal) is often recommended for diabetics because it has a lower glycemic index compared to ripe jackfruit. It's rich in fiber too! But always check with your doctor or a dietician for personalized advice. 😊💚

Raw jackfruit, yes, can be good in moderation due to its fiber content and lower glycemic index than ripe fruit. But ripe jackfruit is very sweet and should be avoided or consumed minimally by diabetics. It's not a cure, just a dietary consideration. Always consult a nutritionist.

I totally get that managing diabetes diet can be confusing with so many suggestions. For jackfruit, raw (unripe) is often considered better because it has less sugar and more fiber compared to ripe jackfruit. But it's not a magic bullet, and portion control is always important. A dietitian can give the best advice tailored for you.

Haan, log kehte hain ki kachha kathal diabetes ke liye achha hota hai. Usski sabzi kha sakte hain. Par jo pakka hua sweet kathal hota hai na, wo avoid karna chahiye. Bahut sweet hota hai. Doctor se confirm karna achha hai, ho na?
