Is ivermectin good for fatty liver?

My recent health checkup showed I have a fatty liver, and my doctor suggested some lifestyle changes. Someone told me that ivermectin might help with it. Is that true or just a myth?

For fatty liver, doc always says lifestyle changes are key. Diet control, regular exercise, losing weight - these are the practical solutions. Ivermectin is generally for parasites, so I don't think it has any role here. Best to stick to what the liver specialist advises.

For fatty liver, the path is usually through a disciplined life – good food, less stress, and some exercise. Ivermectin is not related to liver fat. Focus on nurturing your body and soul, and always take your doctor's word for such conditions.

My uncle had fatty liver, and his doctor put him on a strict diet and exercise regime. Never heard of Ivermectin being part of his treatment plan. From my experience, for liver issues, proper medical supervision and lifestyle changes are the only way.

Like high BP, fatty liver also needs dedicated lifestyle management and regular checkups. Ivermectin is not something that would help with liver fat. My doctor always emphasizes diet and exercise for liver health. Please get proper medical advice.

Fatty liver is common, and many people look for quick fixes. I've heard of many home remedies for overall health, but for specific conditions like fatty liver, it's crucial to follow a doctor's plan. Ivermectin is certainly not for that. Diet and exercise under medical guidance are usually the way.

I totally get why you'd be looking for solutions for fatty liver, it can be a concerning diagnosis. But Ivermectin isn't the right path for that. It's essential to consult a hepatologist for a proper treatment plan, which usually involves lifestyle changes and sometimes specific medications for liver support.

If Ivermectin fixed fatty liver, my biryani would taste even better! But sadly, no such luck. It's for parasites, not for making your liver less fat. You need actual diet control and doctor visits for that, no magic pills here. 😄

Hey! For fatty liver, what I've heard from my friends and what my doc auntie says is that diet and exercise are super important. Ivermectin is used for other stuff, not fatty liver. Better to follow a doctor's advice on what to eat and how to stay active for liver health.

Oh, fatty liver is something to be careful about, I always get anxious thinking about liver health. But Ivermectin isn't for that, no. It's important to consult a gastroenterologist or hepatologist for fatty liver. They'll guide you on proper diet and medication, if any. Don't risk it with unproven stuff.

No, Ivermectin is not indicated for fatty liver. Its primary use is for parasitic infections. For fatty liver, the best approach involves dietary modifications, weight loss, and regular physical activity, all under the guidance of a physician. Self-medicating with inappropriate drugs can be harmful.
