Is itching skin a sign of liver disease?

I've been feeling very fatigued and my skin has become quite itchy, especially on my arms. Someone told me these could be signs of liver problems. Is itchy skin really a symptom of that?

My son had very itchy skin for a while, and after many tests, it turned out to be related to a liver issue. It was a stressful time. So, if your itching is persistent and not explained by normal things like dry skin or allergies, please, please see a doctor. They'll do the right tests.

I'm no doctor, so I can only tell you what I've heard or experienced. I know someone whose unexplained itchy skin turned out to be related to their liver. It's not always the case, but it's one of those things where you really shouldn't guess. Please consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Oh, really? I didn't know that. My skin has been a bit itchy lately, but I thought it was just the weather. Is it a specific type of itch, or just any kind of itchiness? Should I be worried if it's not constant?

My liver disease usually shows up after I've eaten too much biryani, but I doubt that causes itching! Jokes aside, yes, persistent itching CAN be a sign, so don't just scratch it away. Get it checked by a doctor, they'll know if your liver is asking for a vacation from all the work it does!

For me, with diabetes, I have to be careful about every symptom. Yes, constant itching can sometimes be linked to liver problems, especially if it's severe or worse at night. It's often due to bile salts building up. Please, consult a doctor and possibly get liver function tests done. Don't take chances.

Proper diet and exercise are key for overall health, including liver health. But if you have persistent, unexplained itchy skin, especially without a rash, it's definitely something that needs a doctor's attention. Liver issues can be serious, so don't delay checking it out. A healthy lifestyle helps, but medical diagnosis first.

Yaar, actually, unexplained itching, especially if it's all over and worse at night, can be a symptom of liver problems. It's usually from bile salts accumulation. So, don't just ignore it, go see a doctor and get some liver function tests done. Better safe than sorry, na?
