Is it possible to sleep with one eye open?

I saw this funny cartoon where a character was sleeping with one eye open, like they were still keeping watch. It got me wondering, is it actually possible for a human to sleep with only one eye open?

Actually, I think it's mostly animals that can do that, to stay alert. For humans, it's not really how our eyes or sleep works. We need both eyes to close properly for deep rest.

Oh my god, I sometimes wake up feeling like one of my eyes didn't close properly, and it feels so dry. Does anyone else get that? It's not sleeping with it open, but like it's half-open and irritated. Makes me worried.

Yaar, that's like a movie thing na? Animals do that, but humans? Nah, not really. Actually, if my eyes don't close properly, I get super irritated. So, no proper sleep with one eye open for us, I guess!

It's natural to wonder about things like this, especially if you're concerned about your sleep or eye health. I used to worry about every little thing with my health. But from what I know, humans can't really sleep with one eye open and get proper rest.

Nah, impossible for effective sleep. Your body needs complete darkness and eye rest for recovery, especially after a tough workout. Proper sleep is crucial for muscle repair and energy. Focus on good sleep hygiene, not eye tricks.

Dekho bhai, that's not how humans are built. Both eyes close for sleep. If one eye stays open, something is wrong, and you should see a doctor, not try to be a crocodile. Simple as that.

I mean, if someone actually could do that, imagine the productivity! But no, our eyes need to be shut to repair and rest. No point in spending on sleep tracking gadgets if you're worried about things like this, just focus on good sleep hygiene. It's free.
