Is it possible to have norovirus without vomiting?

My whole family had a stomach bug last week, with vomiting and diarrhea. I only had bad diarrhea and felt nauseous, but never actually vomited. Can you have norovirus or a similar stomach infection without the vomiting part?

Yes, absolutely. Norovirus is tricky. While vomiting is a common symptom, you can have it with just severe diarrhea, stomach cramps, or even just general malaise. For someone managing diabetes, this can be very dangerous due to dehydration and blood sugar fluctuations. Always be careful about what you eat and consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

Our bodies respond in diverse ways to challenges. While vomiting is common, Norovirus can manifest with other symptoms too, or even be mild. Maintain positive thoughts and take care of your body through proper rest and hydration. If symptoms are severe, seek medical guidance.

Haan, bilkul. Humare time mein bhi 'stomach flu' bolte the, aur sabko ulti nahi aati thi. Kaiyon ko bas loose motions hote the aur pet mein dard. Bas dhyan rakhna, dehydration na ho. Nimbu pani piyo aur halka khana khao. Agar zyada ho toh doctor ke paas jao.

Yep, totally possible! Norovirus is a tricky one, sometimes it just gives you really bad diarrhea and stomach cramps without the vomiting part. 🤢 So don't assume you're clear just because there's no puking! Stay hydrated! 💧

Yes, Norovirus can present with a range of symptoms, and vomiting is not always present. One might experience severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, or a general feeling of unwellness. During such times, focus on staying hydrated and resting. If symptoms are severe, consult a doctor.

Interesting question! I always associated norovirus with really severe vomiting. So it's good to know it can manifest differently. I guess it makes it harder to diagnose if you're only looking for one symptom. Thanks for the info!

Norovirus without vomiting? That's like going to a party and only getting a headache, no fun at all! But yeah, it's possible. My cousin had it last year, just felt super weak and had mad diarrhea. So, don't wait for the puke to know it's a villain, yaar.
