Is it possible to have covid without fever?

Last week, I felt really tired, had a bad cough and lost my sense of smell, but never got a fever. I was worried it might be Covid, but without a fever, I wasn't sure. Can someone actually have Covid-19 without developing a fever?

Yes, completely possible. During the various waves, many people experienced COVID with different symptoms, or sometimes none at all. Fever was not always present. Listen to your body, maintain good immunity through breathwork and healthy living, but if you suspect, get tested.

Really? I always thought fever was the main symptom. So if someone didn't have a fever, how would they even know they had it? Does that mean you could spread it without even knowing you're sick?

I totally get why you're asking, it was so confusing during the pandemic. And yes, absolutely. Many people, including some of my own family members, had COVID with no fever at all. It could be just a sore throat, body aches, or even just feeling tired. It varied so much for everyone.

Oh, absolutely! Covid was like a chameleon, always changing its disguise. I had it twice; first time, fever; second time, just a really bad cough and fatigue that lasted weeks. No fever at all. It was like my body said, 'Let's try a new symptom combo this season.' Always test if you feel off.

Yes, 100%! I just recovered from COVID last month, and I never had a fever. It was mainly just extreme fatigue and a persistent cough. My whole family tested positive, and only my dad had a fever. So definitely, don't rely only on fever as a symptom.

Oh, for sure! I had it once and didn't even get a fever. Just lost my sense of taste and smell for a few days – which was worse than fever for a foodie like me! 😩 So yes, it can sneak up on you with all sorts of symptoms, or almost none.

Yes, absolutely. My doctors at the private hospital clearly explained that COVID could present with a wide range of symptoms, and fever was not always among them. They stressed the importance of testing if you have any respiratory or flu-like symptoms, even mild ones, to protect yourself and others.

Haan bhai, bilkul possible hai. Bahut log bina bukhar ke bhi positive hote the. Kabhi sirf gala kharab, kabhi sardi. Isliye, agar thoda bhi doubt ho, test karwa lo. Chup chap ghar pe baithe rehne se achha hai. Apne liye aur doosron ke liye.

During Covid, so much misinformation was spread. But medically, yes, many strains and individual responses meant no fever. Don't believe every home remedy or internet advice you read. If you feel unwell, get a proper RT-PCR done and follow your doctor's instructions, not some WhatsApp forward.

Covid without fever? Oh, that was like the ultimate plot twist in the pandemic. I swear, my body felt like it had been run over by a truck, but no fever, just extreme exhaustion. My sleep-deprived brain was like, 'Is this Covid or just Tuesday?' So yeah, totally possible, confusing as hell.
