Is it ok to take bath in fever?

My little one has a fever, and she's feeling quite warm. My mother says a quick bath with lukewarm water will help bring the temperature down. But I've heard you shouldn't bathe when you have a fever. Is it okay to take a bath in fever?

Honestly, if it's a mild fever, a quick lukewarm sponge bath is actually quite refreshing. Just don't use cold water or stand under the shower for too long. Helps you feel clean, which is a big relief when you're feeling unwell.

Dude, I always just do a quick, warm water shower when I have a fever. Feel so much better after! Just make sure the bathroom isn't too cold and dry off properly immediately. Mera toh same rule hai for exams also.

Mere experience se, light warm water se sponge bath le sakte ho. Shower avoid karta hoon jab bukhar ho. The main thing is not to get a chill after, so I make sure to dry quickly and wear comfortable clothes. Just personal comfort, not medical advice haan.

My family doctor always says a lukewarm bath is actually good for fever, it helps bring the body temperature down gently. But never cold water! And avoid drafts after, so bathroom must be warm and dry yourself properly. She mentioned it's a physical method of cooling.

Haan, you can definitely take a bath, but lukewarm water is key. Too cold might cause shivering which can actually increase body temp, and too hot isn't helpful either. Quick bath, dry well, wear loose cotton clothes. It's more about hygiene and comfort sometimes.

Humare gaon mein toh bolte hain, halka garam paani se badan ponch lo. Nahaane se thand lag sakti hai. Par agar mann saaf karne ka hai, toh jaldi se gungune paani se naha ke jaldi sukh jao. Dil ko accha lage toh theek hai, zyada nahi karna.

It's so uncomfortable to have a fever, and sometimes you just want to feel clean. Yes, you can take a bath, just use lukewarm water and don't make it too long. The main thing is to avoid getting colder afterward. Feeling refreshed can really lift your spirits when you're unwell.

Totally okay to take a bath, just make it a quick warm one, not cold! I always feel so much better and less 'sick' after a shower, especially if I'm sweating a lot with the fever. Just ensure you don't catch a chill afterwards, so dry properly and wear comfies.

When I get fever, with my BP, I'm always careful. My doctor always advises sponge baths with slightly warm water, never cold, and never full-on shower. It helps me feel fresh without stressing my body too much. For persistent fever, best to check with your doc, especially with BP.

When my immunity is low and I catch a fever, I definitely don't push it with a cold shower. A quick warm water bath is fine, helps clean up the sweat and feel refreshed. Hydration and rest are more important than cold showers when you're down.
