Is it ok for newborn to sleep in swing?

My sister-in-law keeps telling me it's okay for my newborn to sleep in the swing, especially since he falls asleep so easily there. But I read online it might not be safe. What do you think?

Har cheez ko positive way mein dekho. Bas thoda dhyan rakho ki baby comfortable ho aur safety pehle. Bhagwan ka naam leke sab accha hota hai.

Honestly, newborn toh kahi bhi so jaate hai, provided unko bhookh na lagi ho ya diaper na bhara ho! Swing is fine as long as it's safe and baby is happy. Don't overthink it, hum bhi toh bade hue hai na!

If the doctor has given a green light and the swing has proper support, it might be okay for short naps. But for longer sleep, flat surfaces are usually recommended. Always prioritize safety, just like you'd prioritize good form in exercise.

Oh god, this is one of those things I also worried so much about! I read so many articles. They usually say it's not ideal for overnight sleep due to SIDS risk, but for short supervised naps, it might be fine. Just be super careful, okay?

Dekho, ghar pe toh kai baar majboori mein karna padta hai jab baby sota nahi. Thodi der ke liye swing mein sulana chalta hai, especially if they are colicky. But raat bhar toh cot mein hi better hai. Practical approach rakho.

From what I've seen, short naps in a swing are okay, but you should avoid leaving them for long periods, especially unattended. Make sure the swing is not too inclined and their head is supported. Flat surface is always best for safe sleep for newborns.

Newborns are so delicate, na. I would say better to check with your pediatrician directly. Har cheez mein safety first, especially for babies. Random advice se better hai doc se confirm kar lo.

Babies need very specific care, just like how I need to keep up with my thyroid tests. I'd definitely recommend asking your pediatrician about the swing. They can tell you exactly what's safe and what's not, specific to your baby.

Aww, new mom worries! 🥰 Swing is generally okay for naps but for night sleep, flat is better to be safe. Just make sure the baby is strapped properly and supervised! All the best! ✨

Just like how we are careful about what we feed babies, we should be careful about their sleeping positions too. Sleeping in a swing isn't the natural flat position. Maybe for a very short time if needed, but not as a regular sleep solution.

My cousin's baby used to sleep in a swing for naps, like small short ones. But for proper sleep, they always put him in the crib. I guess it's all about how long and how often, and making sure the baby is safe.
