Is it kidney pain or muscle pain?

I'm having pain in my lower back, and it's a bit worrying me. My mother said it might be my kidney, but I also did some heavy cleaning yesterday, so it could be muscle strain. How do I know if it's kidney pain or just muscle pain?

According to clinical studies, muscular pain is localized and tender to touch, worsening with movement. When I consulted my physician about flank pain, she explained that kidney pain is felt deeper, higher up in the back, and is often accompanied by systemic symptoms like fever, chills, or urinary changes. It is best to get a urinalysis to be sure.

I literally just recovered from a kidney stone last week. I initially thought it was a gym injury, but muscle pain usually eases with rest. This kidney pain was a deep, excruciating, waves-of-agony kind of ache that didn't change whether I sat or stood. If you have fever or nausea with it, go to a clinic immediately.

In our family, we are always advised to drink plenty of water to prevent kidney issues, which is very sound advice. Muscle pain usually responds to simple rest or hot water fermentation. However, if the pain is deep and persistent, you must trust a doctor and get proper medical tests done immediately.

Muscle pain changes with your movement and touch, while kidney pain is a deep, constant ache that doesn't change with posture.

Listen gently to your body. If it is a muscle strain, it will heal with rest, deep breathing, and time. However, if the pain feels deep, persistent, and is accompanied by fever, please seek medical care to heal your body safely.

Man, I panicked so hard thinking I had a kidney issue after a heavy back workout. Turns out muscle pain usually hurts when you stretch or touch the area. If your pain is deep inside and you feel sick or have a fever, that's a kidney sign, so definitely get a doctor to check it.

Keep it simple to save time: try stretching or resting. If the pain shifts or gets better with posture changes, it's likely muscle strain. If it is a constant, deep ache under your rib cage accompanied by painful urination, don't waste time on home remedies and get a lab test done.
