Is it healthier to sleep without a pillow?

I've been seeing some reels online about how sleeping without a pillow can improve posture and reduce neck pain. My neck often feels stiff. Is it healthier to sleep without a pillow, or is that just a trend?

I hope you find a sleeping style that works best for your neck comfort. Trying to sleep flat on your back without a pillow can sometimes help, but take it easy and see how your body feels.

Instead of buying expensive orthopedic pillows, you can try using a simple folded cotton bedsheet under your head. It gives you a very low height and keeps your spine straight without costing a rupee. It is a very practical trick that solved my neck stiffness.

Hey, don't stress too much about what the internet says is the perfect way to sleep. If you prefer a soft pillow, just use it, and if flat sleeping feels better, go for that. Just listen to what your neck tells you in the morning, rest is what matters!

I know how frustrating it is to wake up with terrible neck stiffness every single morning and feel exhausted all day. I spent months crying from neck pain and trying different pillow heights, feeling like nothing would ever work. It is a hard struggle, and finding the right spinal alignment takes a lot of trial and error.

Sleeping without a pillow is not suitable for everyone, especially if you sleep on your side because it can strain your neck muscles. Please be careful and check with an orthopedist or physical therapist before making sudden changes. It is always safer to get a professional opinion on spine health.

I ignored persistent neck pain for months, thinking it was just a bad pillow issue, and it turned out to be a cervical disc problem. Please don't keep experimenting with different sleeping styles on your own if the pain is continuous. Go get a proper scan or medical checkup done immediately.
