Is it healthier to sleep naked?

I usually sleep in pajamas, but I heard some people prefer sleeping naked and say it's better for you. Is it healthier to sleep naked, or does it not make much difference?

Honestly, I tried it during the peak summer heat and it actually feels way more comfortable. Your body temperature stays cool, and you sleep much deeper without waking up sweaty. Just make sure your bedsheets are clean, otherwise it gets annoying.

In our traditional way, we always prefer wearing light, loose cotton clothes like a dhoti or simple pajama for sleeping. It is important to keep the body comfortable and protected from sudden temperature drops during the night. If you feel too hot, just use a light cotton sheet instead of changing your sleeping habits drastically.

While some people say it helps with air circulation, you have to be careful about skin allergies and dust mites on the mattress. If you have sensitive skin or eczema, sleeping without a protective barrier might cause irritation. Always ensure your bedding is thoroughly sanitized if you choose to do this.

I read somewhere that it helps regulate cortisol levels, but then I started worrying about catching a chill or getting skin infections from the sheets. I guess it has benefits, but I am too anxious about hygiene to try it myself. If you feel comfortable, you should go for it!

I used to think sleeping like this was very weird and unhealthy for the body. But after trying it during a humid phase, I realized it actually improves sleep quality and prevents skin rashes from tight elastic bands. It is completely normal and healthy if you are comfortable with it.

Sleeping naked in Mumbai's humid weather actually makes a lot of sense, yaar. It keeps your body temperature down and you don't wake up drenched in sweat. Just make sure the AC is set to a comfortable level so you don't catch a cold.
