Is it bad to take a bath with a fever?

My little one has a fever and is feeling quite warm. My mother-in-law said to give her a quick bath to bring the temperature down, but I'm hesitant. Is it safe to bathe a child when they have a fever?

I always feel so scared to take a bath when I have a fever, worrying it will make my cold worse. Does anyone else also feel that shivering sensation right after bathing, or is it just my imagination?

Aap thande paani se mat nahaiye jab bukhar ho. Gungune paani se thoda sa shareer ponchh lijiye, usse bahut aaram milega aur kamzori bhi nahi lagegi.

Honestly, standing under a hot shower when you have fever is a bad idea because it can make you feel super dizzy. I just do a quick warm sponge bath when I absolutely need to feel fresh, otherwise I just rest.

I generally avoid taking a proper head bath when running a fever to prevent chills, as my body is already low on immunity. A gentle sponge bath with warm water is much safer, but if your fever is very high, please consult a doctor first.

Haan, bilkul garm ya ekdum thande paani se nahana avoid karna chahiye na. Normal lukewarm water se sponge bath le lo, body clean bhi ho jayegi aur temperature bhi control mein rahega.
