Is it bad to sleep on your stomach?

I usually sleep on my stomach, it's the most comfortable position for me. My friend told me it's very bad for my neck and back in the long run. Is it really bad to sleep on your stomach?

I used to sleep on my stomach because of chronic body aches, but it actually made my neck pain worse. Later, a regular checkup showed my thyroid levels were highly elevated, causing the muscle soreness. Do check with a doctor if you are experiencing persistent body pain.

I used to panic thinking stomach sleeping would permanently damage my spine. It really doesn't, though it can cause a stiff neck. I just transitioned to side sleeping with pillows and the soreness went away, so don't stress!

While managing PCOS, I realized that stomach sleeping sometimes caused mild bloating and discomfort in my lower abdomen. Side sleeping feels much gentler on the pelvic area, though you should try what feels best for your body.

Honestly, with my crazy work shifts, I would sleep hanging from the ceiling if I could! Stomach sleeping is comfortable for some, but your neck gets twisted at a weird 90-degree angle, which makes you wake up feeling like a broken toy.

If you are habituated to stomach sleeping, try using a very thin pillow for your head, or no pillow at all. This keeps your neck in a more natural alignment without spending money on orthopedic mattresses.

Bhai, direct baat hai, stomach sleeping spinal alignment ke liye sabse kharab hai. Aaj nahi toh kal neck pain shuru ho jayega. Apni habit badlo aur side me sona start karo.

Let's be real, stomach sleeping is bad for your cervical spine. It flattens the natural curve of your lower back and strains your neck. Switch to side sleeping if you want to avoid chronic back issues down the line.

I totally get it, stomach sleeping feels so comforting when you are highly stressed. But it really strains your ligaments over time. Try hugging a large pillow while lying on your side to get that same secure feeling.

I just recovered from a severe neck spasm caused by sleeping face down. My physical therapist strictly banned stomach sleeping. Since I switched to my side with a supportive pillow, the pain has completely vanished.

Sleeping on your stomach after a heavy dinner of butter chicken is a recipe for instant acid reflux! Trust me, your digestive system will hate you. Sleep on your left side to let your food digest in peace.

I was a lifelong stomach sleeper and paid the price with terrible lower back spasms. If you can't sleep any other way, place a flat pillow under your pelvis to reduce the arch in your lower back. It really saves your spine.

Humare yahan badhe-budhe kehte hain ki ulta let kar nahi sona chahiye, isse pet aur pith dono par bura asar padta hai. Sidha ya karwat lekar sona hi sabse uttam hai.
