Is imodium good for vomiting?

Last night I had some street food and now I'm feeling very nauseous and keep vomiting. My friend suggested taking Imodium to stop it. Is Imodium good for stopping vomiting, or is it more for diarrhea?

No beta, Imodium is for loose motions, not for vomiting. If you feel nauseous, try sipping ginger tea or chewing a small piece of dry ginger, it works much better than taking the wrong medicine.

Bro, don't take Imodium for vomiting, that's for the other end! It won't help stop the puking at all. Just stick to some ORS or look for proper anti-vomiting pills after asking a doc.

Don't make the mistake of taking random pills. I once took the wrong medicine for stomach pain and ended up in the emergency room with severe dehydration. If you are vomiting, go see a doctor properly.

Haan na, completely wrong medicine hai yeh vomiting ke liye. Imodium toh loose motions ke liye use karte hain. Puking ho rahi hai toh thoda nimbu pani pee lo aur doctor ko dikhao.

I don't think Imodium works for vomiting, as its main action is on the bowel movements. I always prefer to double-check with my doctor before taking any OTC pill because our bodies can be quite sensitive.

I totally get it, vomiting makes you feel so exhausted and you just want it to stop immediately. But please don't take Imodium, it is meant for stopping diarrhoea and won't help your nausea at all. Hope you feel better soon.

No, it is not for vomiting. Vomiting can dehydrate you quickly, which can fluctuate your blood pressure. Drink some plain water with salt and sugar, and see a doctor to get a correct prescription.

Who told you Imodium is for vomiting? Don't blindly trust internet searches or what friends say. Taking incorrect stomach medication can mess up your system. Go consult a clinic.

Imodium bilkul mat lena vomiting ke liye. Simple solution hai, thoda sa ORS paani pee lo taaki weakness na aaye aur doctor se sahi anti-vomiting tablet likhwa lo.

Imodium is not the right medicine for vomiting. If you are diabetic and vomiting, your sugar levels can crash or spike rapidly due to dehydration. Please contact your doctor immediately and drink sugar-free fluids.

Stay positive and let your body rest. Taking the wrong medicine like Imodium won't ease your vomiting. Drink some light lemon water with a peaceful mind and let nature heal you gently.

Please do not self-medicate with Imodium for vomiting. When I had food poisoning, the doctors at Apollo told me that taking the wrong medicine can actually lock toxins in the body. Consult a doctor for a proper antiemetic.

Oh, I actually thought it helps with stomach issues overall. If Imodium is only for diarrhoea, what is the usual safe medicine we should keep at home for sudden vomiting?

No chance, man. Imodium will slow down your gut but won't stop you from puking. When I had food poisoning, my doc gave me Ondansetron for the vomiting. Don't mix up your meds.

Taking Imodium for vomiting is useless and might cause constipation instead. Just get a quick online doctor consultation on an app and get the right prescription delivered in 15 minutes.
