Is ibuprofen good for stomach pain?

I've had a nagging stomach ache since yesterday evening. My cousin said ibuprofen sometimes helps. Is ibuprofen good for stomach pain, or is it only for other types of pain?

Actually, my doctor told me to avoid ibuprofen for stomach pain because it can make gastric issues and acidity much worse. Has anyone else felt a burning sensation in their chest after taking it?

No, please avoid ibuprofen for stomach pain. Since it is an NSAID, it can irritate the stomach lining and actually increase pain if you have gas or an ulcer. It is better to use an antispasmodic after consulting a doctor.

Bro, never take ibuprofen for stomach ache. I made that mistake once during college exams and my stomach burning got ten times worse. Stick to a simple antacid or check with a doc.

Haan na, stomach pain ke liye ibuprofen bilkul mat lena. It is very heavy on the stomach and can cause bad acidity. Better to drink some warm ajwain water or ask a doctor for a proper stomach-soothing medicine.

Oh, please be careful! I get so worried about stomach pain, but ibuprofen is known to irritate the stomach wall. Taking it might make the irritation worse, so please consult a doctor to get the right medicine.

Yeah, definitely don't take it for stomach issues. My hostel roommate took it for cramps once and ended up with terrible acidity instead. Better to just drink warm water or get a specific pill for stomach pain.

I was researching this online and apparently, ibuprofen can trigger gastric ulcers or worsen indigestion. It is meant for muscle or joint pain, not for stomach aches. Better to check with a doctor.
