Is ibuprofen good for back pain?

Since my new WFH setup, I've had terrible back pain. My colleague swears by ibuprofen for her back issues. Is ibuprofen actually a good option for back pain?

Yes, it is quite effective for back pain. Try to rest and use a hot water bag along with it to feel better.

It works for backache, but as a diabetic, I have to be extremely cautious. These pain relievers can impact kidney functions, so I always consult my physician before taking even a single tablet.

Be very careful with severe back pain. I ignored mine and kept taking ibuprofen, only to find out later I had a slipped disc that required proper medical therapy. Please get it checked by a doctor if it doesn't go away.

It does help relieve the muscle inflammation in your back. I log my posture and stretching routine on my fitness app, and honestly, combining light stretching with ergonomic seating works wonders alongside occasional medication.

It helps my back pain, but it always makes my stomach feel super bloated and acidic. Does anyone else get this issue, or is it just me? I feel so uneasy taking it.

I completely understand how depressing and exhausting back pain can be, it literally drains your energy. Ibuprofen does help quiet the pain, but please be gentle with yourself and take plenty of rest.

During my checkup at Max Hospital, the orthopedic doctor told me that while ibuprofen is good for back inflammation, it should not be taken continuously. Ask your doctor clearly for a proper prescription.

I panicked so much when my doctor prescribed ibuprofen for my back spasm, thinking it was too strong. But it actually helped reduce the inflammation within a couple of days and was totally fine.

Yes, it helps, but make sure you never take it on an empty stomach. I always recommend having a light, warm vegetarian meal or some warm milk before taking such medicines to protect your gut.

Yes, it works really well for back aches! Just make sure you pair it with some gentle stretching and a nice warm bath to relax those muscles! 🌸

Before taking any pill, I always apply warm mustard oil with garlic on my back. Ibuprofen is fine for a quick fix, but if your pain goes down your legs or numbs them, please see a doctor immediately.

I have been having some lower back pain due to long study hours. Is ibuprofen really safe to take for this, or should I try some ointment first? I haven't taken many pain medicines before.

I have dealt with chronic lower back pain for five years. Ibuprofen is great for acute flare-ups, but don't make it a habit. Focus on core-strengthening exercises, maintaining good posture, and consulting a physiotherapist.

It definitely helps! Otherwise, walking around looking like a folded laptop is no fun. Just don't swallow them like candy, your stomach won't appreciate the party, haha!

Dude, I got crazy back pain from sitting at my desk all day. Ibuprofen worked like magic to ease the pain, but honestly, getting a better chair and doing daily deadhangs is what actually saved me.
