Is high protein good for diabetics?

My doctor told me to watch my diet because I have diabetes. I'm trying to figure out what to eat. Someone at the temple told me that high protein food is good for diabetics, but I'm not sure if that's true. Can anyone confirm?

For diabetics, maintaining a balanced diet is very important. While protein helps to keep blood sugar stable, too much of anything can be an issue, especially if there are kidney concerns. My family advises good home-cooked food. But for diabetes, it's always best to consult a doctor or a dietician. They will give the right advice for your health.

High protein can be tricky for diabetics. While it can help with satiety, excessive protein, especially animal protein, can sometimes put a strain on kidneys, which are already vulnerable in diabetics. I had a complication related to diet and kidney health, so please, please consult your doctor or a dietician before making any major dietary changes. Don't risk it.

When I was first diagnosed with diabetes, my doctor actually recommended a moderate protein intake, not necessarily 'high'. It helps control blood sugar spikes and keeps you full. But too much can be hard on the kidneys in the long run. So yeah, balance is key, and definitely talk to a dietitian.

I'm not a doc, but from my own experience, when my sugar levels were high, I focused more on protein in my meals because it kept me full and helped avoid carb cravings. But I always made sure it was balanced and from healthy sources. Best to discuss with a doctor or a nutritionist specific to your condition.

It's completely normal to feel anxious about diet when managing diabetes. You want to do everything right! High protein can help with managing blood sugar, as it slows down glucose absorption. However, the quantity needs to be right for your body and kidney health. Always talk to a doctor or a dietitian; they can ease your worries with personalized advice.

Beti, protein is good for strength. For sugar disease, it helps. But everything in limit, no? Too much of anything is not good. So, eat good protein like daal and paneer, but ask the doctor or the dietician how much. They know best for your body.

For diabetics, a balanced approach is always best. Protein helps stabilize blood sugar and provides sustained energy. However, excess can strain the body, especially kidneys. Combine a moderate, healthy protein intake with mindful eating and gentle movements like yoga to support overall well-being. Always consult a medical professional for dietary plans.
